As a Win-and-Deliver Consultant, your primary responsibility is to win new work, you will do that partly by working as a consultant on project delivery, supported by colleagues with who are Delivery focussed.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership
- Act as the senior relationship owner for a defined portfolio of clients
- Engage at Director and senior stakeholder level, building trusted adviser relationships
- Lead client workshops, reviews, and strategic discussions
- Anticipate client needs and proactively bring ideas and solutions
Business Development
- Identify and qualify opportunities within existing accounts, growing revenue and deepening client engagement
- Proactively identify, pursue and convert new client opportunities to expand our client base
- Contribute to and lead bid and proposal responses
- Support the development of our pipeline through your network and reputation
- Represent the company at industry events, forums, and client engagements
- Lead the preparation of presentations, capability statements, and marketing collateral
Delivery
- Lead the delivery of defined workstreams or smaller end-to-end engagements
- Produce high-quality outputs — reports, strategies, assessments, recommendations — with limited oversight
- Manage day-to-day client interactions on your workstreams professionally and proactively
Knowledge and Proposition
- Contribute to the development of our service offerings and go-to-market approach
- Maintain and develop deep expertise in your primary domain
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practice
- Stay current with sector developments and bring relevant insight to clients and colleagues
People
- Act as a positive role model for quality, professionalism, and client focus
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
Is this you?
Essential
- Solid experience in the National Security / Intelligence domain
- A track record of delivering quality outputs in a consulting or advisory environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior audiences
- Experience managing client relationships at a working level
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time across multiple priorities
Desirable
- Experience contributing to bids, proposals, or tender responses
- Exposure to business development or account management activity
- Experience working in or with SMEs or boutique consultancies
